TUNE-SMITHING the first 3 Wednesdays of the month @ 6:00 pm at shared locations, Spiral Studios at 879 E. Tabernacle and Dan's Guitar Repair at 705 No. Bluff. Come share your original music and get feed back from your peers. Check the Calendar for the location and dates!
MONTHLY WORKSHOP - This held on the last Wednesday of every month. We review Pat Pattison's "Writing Better Lyrics" which has been our guide for over a year. Lauretta Swansborough chairs the class as members discuss writing techniques and formulas, to assist them with rewrites and new projects.
This class is also open to the public and to prospective SUSWA members. We have books on hand if you need one for $10.
SUSWA's Mission!
SUSWA is the home to southern Utah's singer songwriters and performers. Members have opportunities to share their music at local venues and sponsored concerts, to collaborate on projects, and to hone their writing skills in monthly workshops.
SUSWA members come in all varieties, ages, and genre. They include professional musicians and writers as well as hobbiests. SUSWA is an association of volunteers, dedicated to fostering the growth of local artists and original music in southern Utah.
